The newly renovated signature Chinese restaurant of The Manila Hotel, Red Jade, has recently upgraded its menu offerings, to better cater the discerning tastes and demands of its Chinese and Filipino clientele.
Upon entering the stylish restaurant, guests will be greeted by an Oriental image of Confucius, as depicted in an array of jade sculptures that line the walls of this exquisite restaurant. This setting ushers the perfect interplay of visual delight and Chinese culinary excellence. Delectable and lavish dim sum offerings, created by Red Jade’s talented culinary team, will delight Chinese and Filipino diners, on the lookout for new and better menu offerings.
For those on the go, all-you-can-eat dim sum creations, offered for lunch daily, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, at PHP988.00 nett, per person, includes a wide selection of soups, appetizers, cold cuts, and noodles. The dim sum menu includes, to name some, steamed pork spareribs with black pepper bean sauce, steamed crystal shrimp dumpling, piggy face lava buns (custard with salted egg), sliced chicken Szechuan chili sauce, stir-fried soya sauce egg noodles, Chinese vinegar dumpling, century egg congee, pan-fried radish cake XO sauce, and, deep-fried chocolate buchi. Indulge in these fine selections of freshly made dim sum, complemented with a pot of premium tea.
In command of Red Jade’s kitchen is Executive Chinese Chef, Sun Bing, who hails from Beijing, China. According to Chef Sun Bing, “I would like to bring to this restaurant the varieties of Chinese cuisine which reflect the various regions of such a huge country, and in the process of evolving some of the classic recipes, allow our guests to enjoy a heightened experience of authentic Chinese offerings. The embodiment of flavour, fresh, and locally sourced ingredients, married with the creativity and passion for Chinese-style food preparation, gives me joy in every dish we prepare.”
An a la carte Chinese menu selection is also offered for lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and for dinner, 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m, daily, Mondays through Sundays.
